Waking... read more up to this scenery every day and being able to see it from every window is a treat that no one deserves and yet you are living it every moment of your day. Easy reachable by car, by the lake and the host is simply one of the best. We used Airbnb for years and Mattia is one of our favorite hosts up to date. Quick with responses, easy to communicate, and very helpful. He supplies you with various amounts of different types of food to end your evening of arrival or start the morning and then you can drive to the nearest supermarket Cetti 15 min by car on a straight road and it has everything. And did I mention the steps…you need to climb up to be in paradise. Thank you Mattia for sharing this place with the world of adventurous people!

Die Wohnung ist klasse ausgestattet, wohnlich und sowohl diese als auch der kleine Garten bieten großartige Ausblicke auf den See und die Umgebung und eine Auslaufmöglichkeit für den Hund. Ankommen und wohlfühlen ist hier angesagt 😊.
Als wir staubedingt über 3 Stunden später als angekündigt ankamen, war Mattia absolut liebenswürdig und unkompliziert und seine lieben Eltern haben den Check-in übernommen.
Die Pizzeria nebenan, die Möglichkeit zur Nutzung der angebotenen Fährverbindung am See, die romantische Atmosphäre, der Lebensmittelvan mit lokalen Produkten, die Waldnähe des Hauses!
Ein Traum und Paradies! Wir kommen gerne wieder!

The apartment has an incredible view and was a prefect stop on our trip. Be aware there are a lot of stairs to get to the apartment, but that’s also how you have spectacular views.

My wife got an infected insect bite, and the next morning Mattia’s parents arrived with repellent, cream for the bite….and a box of pastries!!
The views from all the windows and the relaxing garden are spectacular.
Brienno itself is small with no shop, but the pizza restaurant, small bar and large terrace bar are all excellent and authentic.
It’s a shame the Brienno ferry stop is no longer running, but the buses are semi-regular if you don’t have a car.
We have already recommended this place to friends and would definitely use again if returning to beautiful Como

The steps up to the apartment could be... read more challenging for some but we enjoyed the daily exercise they required. The town of Brienno is interesting, quiet and quaint and well connected. It is well situated allowing easy exploration of what Lake Como has to offer. Nearby Argegno has a nice selection of restaurants and great boat connections as well as boat hire.

Mattia and his Mum & Dad are fantastic hosts doing everything they can to make life easy. The welcome hamper was fabulous and the kitchen was well stocked with condiments, oils, etc, etc.

Mattia also helped to make reservations at a restaurant for us and cancel them when we had a last minute change of plans. he was patient and polite throughout.
the house is clean and beautifully decorated. you will feel at home immediately. if you are considering booking this place, don’t hesitate! all our thanks and love to Mattia and his parents for the wonderful stay.

The groceries that... read more Mattia provided were an absolute life-saver and meant the world to us. Brienno is a quiet and pretty village with great old passages to explore near the shore (underneath and around the old buildings that line Via Regina road)… and the views from the property are amazing.

Parking can be a bit tricky in anything larger than an estate car (station wagon), but Mattia helped us with suggestions and instructions about the house’s allocated spot. The fact that Mattia met us and helped with luggage and told us everything we needed to know about the location was absolutely above and beyond.

We would highly recommend this stay to anyone — not just for the great home but also for the wonderful hospitality.
