The home is beautifully decorated and has the most magnificent views from the terrace and each room of the home. We enjoyed exploring the tunnels in Brienno and other towns around the lake. We had the best pizza at Bri’en which was recommended to us. We had a drink one night and we were able to wave to our girls on the terrace at the house ; ). Lovely place to stay. Easy reachable by car, by the lake and the host is simply one of the best. We used Airbnb for years and Mattia is one of our favorite hosts up to date. Quick with responses, easy to communicate, and very helpful. He supplies you with various amounts of different types of food to end your evening of arrival or start the morning and then you can drive to the nearest supermarket Cetti 15 min by car on a straight road and it has everything. And did I mention the steps…you need to climb up to be in paradise. Thank you Mattia for sharing this place with the world of adventurous people!

  we visited Dipinto Sul Lago, hosted by Mattia ..... from 22 - 25 July 2024.
This is a traditional modern Italian appartment, that is very nice and clean. Everything worked... read more seemlessly from start to end. All pre-information was flawless, and was done orally by Mattia's father Pierluigi, who also helped us to carry up our luggage & kept a parking space for 1 of our cars (we were 2 families).
The family had bought us some food and put in the refrigerator + we got sparkling wine & Pierluigis mother had baked us a cake and left so many other nice things.
The house is equipted with all amenities, and even cold water tap in the kitchen, even with sparkling water if you want.
The only downside we found was the stairs leading to the apartment - it is 81 steps, so if you're not in good condition, this is not for you - we actually enjoyed the excercise 🙂

He stocked the house with snacks and fresh... read more foods/fruits and even helped us get to a boat excursion reservation when we first checked in and didn’t know how to navigate there (he literally drove us himself!). He went out of his way to make us feel comfortable. This home away from home was a quiet slice of heaven for us in Lake Como. I highly recommend booking your stay here!
