Brienno is a quiet and pretty village with great old passages to explore near the shore (underneath and around the old buildings that line Via Regina road)… and the views from the property are amazing.

Parking can be a bit tricky in anything larger than an estate car (station wagon), but Mattia helped us with suggestions and instructions about the house’s allocated spot. The fact that Mattia met us and helped with luggage and told us everything we needed to know about the location was absolutely above and beyond.

We would highly recommend this stay to anyone — not just for the great home but also for the wonderful hospitality.

  Mattia’s home is simply amazing! He left no stone unturned when it came to comfort and hospitality. The views are stunning and the home feels like an Italian paradise. There... read more are steep stairs but, even with twin toddlers, we managed just fine. Mattia helped us with our bags when we arrived, he had a breakfast spread waiting for us to indulge in, essentials were also included in the fridge and pantry and two portacots and high chairs were all set up. We have stayed in many airbnbs and hotels over the years and Mattia’s home is by far the standout. We hope to come back one day, not only because of the great apartment, but Mattias attention to detail made everything so easy for us.

Host's attention to detail was impeccable and all the products made available to us were of top quality.... read more The kitchen was just perfect for cooking and instead of going out we ended up making five meals, saying that nothing was amiss is an understatement. This was the best AirBnB by far we have ever stayed, host's responsiveness, scenery, fresh flower decorations, easy access to local produce and privacy of the apartment itself were astonishing. Cherry on the top was that our only concern about parking was countered by our host kindly providing access to the easy (by Italian standards) garage just downstairs. Thank you!
