Mattias’ parents gave us a warm welcome upon arrival (even though we had to adjust the arrival time during the day — they were super flexible!). They showed us everything: the flat, the surroundings, where to park — and even had a table reserved for us at a great nearby pizzeria.

The apartment was cozy and well-located, making it an ideal base to explore the beautiful Lago di Como. One tip: avoid long car journeys — instead, take the morning boat from Brienno for a scenic and peaceful ride with stunning lake views.

Highly recommended for families or anyone looking for a calm and charming getaway!

This was the best AirBnB by far we have ever stayed, host's responsiveness, scenery, fresh flower decorations, easy access to local produce and privacy of the apartment itself were astonishing. Cherry on the top was that our only concern about parking was countered by our host kindly providing access to the easy (by Italian standards) garage just downstairs. Thank you!

They even welcomed us with food items, a bottle of wine, and a bunch of sweet treats, which we appreciated so much after a long travel day. Brienno is a sleepy town so the thoughtful touch of food was great when we couldn’t get to the store right away. A car is a must to stay here but it’s only a short drive from Como.
