This is a traditional modern Italian appartment, that is very nice and clean. Everything worked... read more seemlessly from start to end. All pre-information was flawless, and was done orally by Mattia's father Pierluigi, who also helped us to carry up our luggage & kept a parking space for 1 of our cars (we were 2 families).
The family had bought us some food and put in the refrigerator + we got sparkling wine & Pierluigis mother had baked us a cake and left so many other nice things.
The house is equipted with all amenities, and even cold water tap in the kitchen, even with sparkling water if you want.
The only downside we found was the stairs leading to the apartment - it is 81 steps, so if you're not in good condition, this is not for you - we actually enjoyed the excercise 🙂

The location was pleasant but for real flexibility with the ferry you need to go to another town.

The apartment has a lot of amenities. Such a lovely touch to have a little toy car our two year old could play with.

The views….incredible!

They have thought of literally EVERYTHING that it takes to make a stay exceptional. We didn’t want to leave!

While we didn’t have the pleasure of meeting Mattia, his father Pierluigi was easily one of the nicest & most helpful hosts I’ve ever met. To say we will be back isn’t just talk…While Brienno is a small & quiet village, we can be sure there’s a place (this place) to call home next year while on Como.

They even welcomed us with food items, a bottle of wine, and a bunch of sweet treats, which we appreciated so much after a long travel day. The garage parking was excellent. The steps to the apartment are a bit brutal but manageable with handrails all the way up. The view is so so so worth it. Mattias family is clearly proud of the apartment and they should be. They were probably the most hospitable airbnb hosts I’ve ever had in my 8+ years of airbnbing. It’s perfect for a family. They had a high chair for my daughter and food, snacks, everything we needed. The water is drinkable, showers great, robes were so nice, and plenty of towels and extra blankets! We felt right at home and it made the stay so much better. The welcome book was super helpful in picking activities and restaurants. Thank you again!

Air conditioning worked great. Kitchen was very well stocked and equipped with everything. Bathrooms were clean and had great water pressure. The bedrooms were comfortable and good size. The front entrance courtyard was a great place to start the day with breakfast and end the night with a glass of wine. The pizza place down the road played great music in the evening too. We loved the area and explored nearby towns and villages. Rent a boat if you can…the most fantastic end to our 3 weeks in Italy. Thank you Mattia. We cannot wait to return!
