When we arrived, Mattia had saved us a parking spot near the entrance so unloading our bags was a breeze. He took time to get us familiar with the apartment and no detail was overlooked. From fresh fruits and vegetables, jam prepared by his father and homemade bolognese from his mom you really feel like you're at home.

10/10 will return again to visit this very special place!

Easy reachable by car, by the lake and the host is simply one of the best. We used Airbnb for years and Mattia is one of our favorite hosts up to date. Quick with responses, easy to communicate, and very helpful. He supplies you with various amounts of different types of food to end your evening of arrival or start the morning and then you can drive to the nearest supermarket Cetti 15 min by car on a straight road and it has everything. The views from every room were spectacular! Beds and furniture were extremely comfortable and beautifully curated in each room. The town is quaint and off the main tourist track.

Mattia was very responsive to all of our questions and messages.

Two very small things I would clarify for anyone booking this space.

1. There were 75-85 cobblestone steps to get to the apartment, a great workout, but could be difficult to access for some guests. (But everywhere on Lake Como has tons of steps)
2. While parking is free, it is on street public parking, so you are not guaranteed nearby parking, especially when the restaurant next door is open.

Overall, I would recommend this space to anyone, it was a perfect space to enjoy the views and culture!

Air conditioning worked great. Kitchen was very well stocked and equipped with everything. Bathrooms were clean and had great water pressure. The bedrooms were comfortable and good size. The front entrance courtyard was a great place to start the day with breakfast and end the night with a glass of wine. The pizza place down the road played great music in the evening too. We loved the area and explored nearby towns and villages. Rent a boat if you can…the most fantastic end to our 3 weeks in Italy. Thank you Mattia. We cannot wait to return!
