The views from every room were spectacular! Beds and furniture were extremely comfortable and beautifully curated in each room. The town is quaint and off the main tourist track.

Mattia was very responsive to all of our questions and messages.

Two very small things I would clarify for anyone booking this space.

1. There were 75-85 cobblestone steps to get to the apartment, a great workout, but could be difficult to access for some guests. (But everywhere on Lake Como has tons of steps)
2. While parking is free, it is on street public parking, so you are not guaranteed nearby parking, especially when the restaurant next door is open.

Overall, I would recommend this space to anyone, it was a perfect space to enjoy the views and culture!

The steps up to the apartment could be... read more challenging for some but we enjoyed the daily exercise they required. The town of Brienno is interesting, quiet and quaint and well connected. It is well situated allowing easy exploration of what Lake Como has to offer. Nearby Argegno has a nice selection of restaurants and great boat connections as well as boat hire.

Mattia and his Mum & Dad are fantastic hosts doing everything they can to make life easy. The welcome hamper was fabulous and the kitchen was well stocked with condiments, oils, etc, etc.

The home is beautifully decorated and has the most magnificent views from the terrace and each room of the home. We enjoyed exploring the tunnels in Brienno and other towns around the lake. We had the best pizza at Bri’en which was recommended to us. We had a drink one night and we were able to wave to our girls on the terrace at the house ; ). Lovely place to stay. It was as beautiful as it looks in the pictures, but what really made this a stand out stay was how accommodating and generous Mattia and his family had been. They had left us milk, a few things to put a lovely lunch together, breads, a bottle of wine, things for breakfast, and a home made tart! They are the best air bnb hosts I have ever had - friendly, informative and accommodating. Brienno itself was a beautiful and authentic small town, with loads of swimming places, an amazing pizza restaurant and a fab terraced bar by the water. Close enough to the big towns to be convenient but small enough to be away from crowds and really feel immersed in the Italian experience. Couldn’t recommend enough!!

Besonders hervorheben möchten wir die außergewöhnliche Freundlichkeit des Gastgebers. Von der Begrüßung bis zur Abreise wurden wir herzlich umsorgt und mit tollen Tipps für Ausflüge und Restaurants versorgt. Man spürt, dass hier mit viel Liebe und Hingabe gearbeitet wird.

Die Unterkunft selbst war makellos sauber, gemütlich und bestens ausgestattet. Wir kommen definitiv wieder und können diesen Ort jedem wärmstens empfehlen!
