We have stayed in the area in various airBnBs and this was by far the best, as well providing excellent value for the quality of the home. Highly recommended for a quiet getaway and within reach of all key areas of Lake Como.

On arrival, we were greeted with a generous, thoughtful, and unexpected assortment of fresh fruits, sweets, coffee and tea, and a refrigerator stocked with fresh milk, pasta, pesto, and salad so that we could dine in if we chose and so that our morning coffee needs were covered. The linens were lovely, the towels fluffy, and the outdoor patios were a perfect spot for morning coffee or evening wine. Brienno itself is absolutely charming, and the more we traveled around, the more we appreciated the incredible views from our apartment and the peace and quiet of the little town. Don't miss the local pizzeria or exploring the labyrinth. I plan to come back to Como with my family and wouldn't dream of staying anywhere else!

This was the best AirBnB by far we have ever stayed, host's responsiveness, scenery, fresh flower decorations, easy access to local produce and privacy of the apartment itself were astonishing. Cherry on the top was that our only concern about parking was countered by our host kindly providing access to the easy (by Italian standards) garage just downstairs. Thank you!

I have never had that kind of generosity before from a n Airbnb host. The space is spotless, comfortable, well equipped and so nicely decorated. Having a washing machine was a huge plus for us as this came half way through a 2-week trip. Cannot say enough wonderful things. Highly recommend!!

  Our stay was amazing from start to finish! Mattia was so responsive on text that check in was so smooth and easy. It was as beautiful as it looks in the pictures, but what really made this a stand out stay was how accommodating and generous Mattia and his family had been. They had left us milk, a few things to put a lovely lunch together, breads, a bottle of wine, things for breakfast, and a home made tart! They are the best air bnb hosts I have ever had - friendly, informative and accommodating. Brienno itself was a beautiful and authentic small town, with loads of swimming places, an amazing pizza restaurant and a fab terraced bar by the water. Close enough to the big towns to be convenient but small enough to be away from crowds and really feel immersed in the Italian experience. Couldn’t recommend enough!!
